Picture 1
The way that this image was shot led me to believe that the young girl was depressed, the picture shows it by how she is slumped over and the picture is dull and b&w also by the almost eerie feel that the picture has to it. The picture sends many emotions to me like depression and loneliness but also a little mystery. I say mystery because the aura of the picture is like it is saying that something happened maybe she is an orphan or she did something to her family. On a technical level id say the author did almost like a studio lighting with how the placement of the girl is and where the lighting is.

Picture 2
In this image i see the child as peaceful and the woman a tired and almost sad looking. I say this because the baby is sleeping and looks all comfortable and the woman is looking away and looking down like she is sad of something. it also looks very empty and dry. I think the texture of the picture is amazing because you can really work out the wrinkles in the woman's skin and he softness of the baby. And in the back you could see everything is dry and cracked. I think the photographer purposely did this so that it symbolizes what type of loss she is going through and i think it is like peace within depression.

Picture 3
In this picture i get the vibe of playfulness. It almost looks like the two in the back are playing tag and the one in the front is like strutting down the road with his arms swinging. on a technical level i believe that the image cold have been burned around the edges a little more an that the image should have been cropped a little because it feels like there is so much open and empty space. I also feel it is a little over exposed. I did however, like how the photographer shot the image so that it looks like the road goes one forever. I also like how the image has almost a hazy look to it almost like it was taken in sepia.

Picture 4
This picture emits a peaceful and happy aura. The old lady looks so serene and almost like she is hiding something and she has her own little secret. I also like the way she is looking away from the camera it just adds on to the who i have my secrets thing. I think the author could have burned the edges above her head and on the sides a little. I Think it would have looked a little better if he/ she had. I also noticed how she was in the middle of the frame and i think it was a good idea because she is a center attention of the picture.

Picture 5
From this picture i automatically get the feeling of death, depression, and somewhat of craziness. I say death because the photographer is illustrating himself as dead and like he is looking at himself in like a third person point of view like he is a ghost. I say depression because he ( as in the him standing) look like he is sick and sad. He looks like he has bags under his eyes he looks super skinny and is dressed in complete black. I say craziness because i want to know who else besides this guy who would want to see themselves dead. Like why would you want to see your lifeless body laying on a metal table waiting to get cut open or buried, it is kind of sick although i can see where he was coming form and and there is a possibility that i may be crazy enough to take a picture like this. I like the way the that the photo was taken in a haze and how it is in black and whit and i know it may have been just the camera that the photographer was using. I think that the haze and the color add to the feeling of death and depression.

Hey mrs. Sarafin,
